Vineyard Town & Country Cabin is located in private Graywood, Texas, on a hilltop surrounded by the natural beauty of our vineyard, garden and Texas Hill Country opens up before you. Bicyclists and bikers, runners and walkers, nature lovers, music lovers, antique lovers, BBQ enthusiasts, sunset seekers and their pooches will find happiness here!
Mid-century modern furnishings, comfortable bed, all linens, fully equipped self-catering kitchen, private front porch and back dining room to make you feel right at home. Inside the cabin, warm wooden walls and floors create a cozy feel.
Up to two adult guests (21 years and older) can enjoy a queen-size bed with 1 bedroom, full bathroom with tub and shower, vineyard, garden and orchard, all within close proximity to Texas Hill Country and San Antonio.
Peaceful, dark night skies are filled with stars and fireflies in early summer! Over one acre of gated grounds give guests peace of mind that their pooches can wander safely or cry with hostess dogs Vienna and Geneva!
You’ll also have access to the community pool (pool towels and swimsuits for guests are available), as well as a bocce court. Fresh bath linens will be replenished and breakfasts will be replenished as needed. A small charcoal grill and chiminea are also ready for use.
The lodging is fully gated and is complemented by our mid-fashion 1957 “Town” house, located on the lodging property, but far enough away to give you a sense of privacy.
What is available to the guest
Guests will have full access to the entire lodge, its terraces, gardens and facilities. There is a communal swimming pool (10: 00 to sunset) and a bocce court, as well as a vineyard and garden. The property is located on a gated plot of over one hectare, accessed through a private gate. Upon arrival, you will receive a set of cabin keys and a remote control gate.
Enjoy high speed internet and Wi-Fi, CD/radio, portable player, cable TV and Roku access to Netflix and other channels. A DVD player is available to play a wide assortment of classic, critically acclaimed and international movies at your fingertips.
Important Information
In late April/early May, the town hosts the annual Cornyval event with small town parades, a carnival and one of the best small rodeos in the country.
On any first Saturday of the month you’ll find Helotes Market Days with themed weekends ranging from chili cook-offs to classic cars. Arts, crafts and locally made products abound!
Stay, rest and relax or use the guest house as a home base for the rest of the Texas Hill Country. There is a concierge kit on the desk where we share information about our favorite hikes and small town purveyors of gelato, bike repair, enchiladas and jerky!
